Dreams: A Blessing in Disguise for Grieving Parents
By Carla Blowey, author Dreaming Kevin: The Path To Healing
Carla Blowey, bereaved mother and author of Dreaming Kevin: The Path To Healing, shares her inspiring testimony of the healing power of dreams in reconciling the death of her five-year-old son, Kevin. Join Carla as she reveals the ominous dream that predicted the death of Kevin, just hours before he died in a bicycle accident, and the many numinous dreams and synchronistic events that offered her forgiveness, healing, spiritual growth, and new life. In this powerful presentation, Carla invites grieving parents to recognize their own dreams as a valuable tool for healing grief and reconciling the death of their children. Carla Blowey offers bereaved parents an opportunity to see beyond the illusions of death and grief, bringing their dreams and their children, and ultimately themselves into the light.
In simple terms, with cited references, Carla explains that bereaved parents commonly experience ‘sleep-state’ After-Death Communications (ADCs) with their children and other deceased loved ones, that offer bereaved parents assurances of their child’s continued existence. In addition, dreams of the bereaved often mirror their own grief journey in memories, metaphors, and symbols, pointing to issues and hidden agendas blocking the path to acceptance and reconciliation. Carla shares her dreams and excerpts from her book, Dreaming Kevin: The Path To Healing to illustrate the difference between “precognitive” dreams, “housekeeping” dreams, and actual “after-death communication” contacts. During her presentation, Carla offers basic techniques, tips, and exercises for getting started.
Carla’s compelling story will challenge bereaved parents to examine dreams of their own deceased children for personal symbols, synchronicities, archetypes, prophecy, and ADCs, as a means to reconciliation and self-empowerment. Carla believes that everything we need to know to do our own grief work is accessible within us. Using our intuition and discernment, we can interpret our dreams to reveal the guidance and wisdom needed for our personal healing. During Carla’s program, ample time will be allowed for participants’ personal sharing and questions.
This workshop is most effective as a three hour or half day program to insure understanding of basic dreamwork and application of techniques. Other options and programs specific to groups needs and time limitations are available. Please contact Carla for more information about scheduling and costs.
